What to Look for When Looking for Sex Therapist
When looking for a sex therapist, it’s recommended to work with someone with specialized training in sex therapy and other trauma modalities. Additionally, it’s recommended to work with someone with education and certification from the American Association of Sexuality, Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). I am currently enrolled in an ASSECT Sex Certification program through Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.
