Values —

The term holistic for this practice means to consider, honor, and integrate the entirety of a person and their lived experience into sessions—mentally, spiritually, and as a body. Pain and distress as well as healing and wholeness happen to the whole person.

Holistic Care

The therapeutic relationship is a microcosm where an individual will get to experience someone honoring their full humanity as well as identify and heal relational wounds—and enhance their ability to connect with others as well as themselves through having the allocated space of therapy to practice and, ideally, a sense of safety within the context of relationships.

Relational

Empowerment

The goal for therapy is to highlight client strengths and equip and empower them to move about the world with more ease and a sense of belonging—despite perhaps holding identities or lived experiences that may discourage people from living in this way.

This practice brings the intention to create a space that can eventually feel safe. This is built over time through a posture of respect for the whole person and harnessing collaboration to identify goals, talking points, and a path forward within therapy. The client has full autonomy and a voice in each session and process.

Respectful

Inclusive

Therapy should be a place where your full identity, sexuality, gender identity, and cultural background is held, honored, and cultivated. Therapy should be a place to show up in fullness—not to be hidden, diminished, or presented in partial form.
