Political Stress & Finding Your Role in Social Change: A 5-Week Group
This is a group container for those feeling overwhelmed by the social and political landscape and unsure how to participate or harness internal and external resources for this moment. The group will integrate writing and reflection prompts and group discussion to provide a container of connection while considering Deepa Iyer’s Social Change Ecosystem Map. This resource is a guide in what she calls our “pursuit of equity, shared liberation, inclusion, and justice” and can be a helpful support for those who are curious to develop their individual role contribution to this collective effort.
In this group, you’ll have space to express your anger, distress, and desire for connection while taking practical steps to identify what role you can adopt to create change in your immediate circle and community. All group session fees will be donated to the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition.
