Embracing Queerness after High-Control Religion: 12 Week Support Group
This group is for you if you're seeking an affirming space to process the messages, shame, and confusion high-control religion. This is a space to be curious and gentle with yourself while connecting with others who have similar lived experience and understand the distress and pain that comes from faith systems that shame folks within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Writing experience is not required—just a willingness to explore your lived experiences through reflection, group discussion, and community.
This group might be for you if:
You were raised in a religious or cultural environment that imposed messages of shame about your sexuality and identity and are now questioning or healing from those messages.
You’re exploring how high-control religion has impacted your relationship with your body, sexuality, gender, identity, or self-worth.
You’re deconstructing beliefs around sex, modesty, and morality and want space to do so without shame.
You want to connect with others who understand the unique grief, confusion, or anger that can follow after religious trauma and high-control religion.
You’re looking for a supportive space to share your experiences with folks who have similar lived experience.
You want to reclaim your voice, values, and sense of agency in a community that honors your process.

When: Weekly on Tuesdays | 7-8:30pm | Begins in May of 2026

Embodiment & Pleasure After Purity Culture: a 2-Day Group Intensive
This group intensive is intended to support folks who have previously gone through the Purity Recovery Group above or are interested in a group experience that integrates psychoeducation about embodiment and experiential somatic embodiment practices to support relating to your body, emotions, pleasure in a new way.
The group experience will also include time for writing and personal reflection, guided practice of somatic tools and strategies, and supportive group discussion, A digital workbook with journaling exercises for work between sessions will be provided to support ongoing reflection and your developing embodiment practice.
This group might be for you if:
You want to learn somatic tools and strategies to support relating safely to your body in a new way.
You were raised in a religious or cultural environment that emphasized purity culture and are now questioning or healing from those messages.
You’re exploring how purity culture has impacted your relationship with your body, sexuality, and pleasure.
You’re deconstructing beliefs around sex, modesty, and morality and want space to do so without shame.
You want to connect with others who understand the unique experience of deconstructing purity culture who are seeking to reclaim a sense of autonomy and agency.
You’re looking for a supportive space to share your experiences with others and gain a sense of connection and community in the process.
